Chris Slaviero
Principal Physiotherapist
Hi, I’m Chris, the owner of Physio Inq Penrith and South Penrith. My journey into physiotherapy has been shaped by a lifelong passion for health, movement, and human connection. With a background in hospitality, I’ve always valued exceptional service and creating meaningful experiences —something I now bring into our clinics every day.
After completing degrees in Sport and Exercise Science and Nutrition, I went on to earn my Master of Physiotherapy from Sydney University. But once I stepped into private practice, I quickly realised that university knowledge alone wasn’t enough to make a great physiotherapist. There was a significant gap between theory and the hands-on skills, decision-making, and communication needed to truly make an impact on patients' lives.
That realization has driven my approach to both physiotherapy and leadership. Within our clinics, I am passionate about fostering an environment where our team can grow into the best private practice clinicians in Australia. This means not only developing their technical skills and knowledge but also shaping them into excellent educators — helping them teach and empower our patients to take control of their health.
Sport, health, and fitness have always been a huge part of my life (I might be just a little obsessed with golf!). But beyond that, I’m fascinated by people’s stories. I love connecting with clients, understanding their journeys, and helping them achieve their goals — whether that’s recovering from injury, improving performance, or simply moving better in daily life.
Coming from a family of business owners, transitioning from employee to employer and mentor felt like a natural step. In 2018, I took the leap and I haven’t looked back since. Every day, I continue to learn — not just as a business owner, but as a physiotherapist, a mentor, and an educator. I’m incredibly proud of the high-performing, energetic team we’ve built, and I truly believe we have some of the best clinicians in the healthcare industry.
At Physio Inq Penrith and South Penrith, we don’t just treat injuries — we help people move, feel, and live better. I look forward to welcoming you into our clinic and showing you what sets us apart!
